The Garden Village use a national pallet network to deliver our products throughout mainland UK ( except NI, Channel Islands, & Isle of Man). Our palletised products are all self-assembly, therefore will arrive flat packed, shrink wrapped on a non-returnable wooden pallet. The Instructions, fixtures and fittings are all enclosed in a clear bag, located at the bottom of the packed product.
The Garden Village or carrier will contact the customer by telephone prior to delivery to confirm details and agree a suitable delivery date. Delivery times are weekdays between 8AM and 6PM however this can vary dependent upon unforeseen circumstances. No exact time of day can be given. All dates quoted for either delivery or contact are approximate. The Garden Village will not accept any liability for any delay in delivery for any reason. Once the goods have been dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled without incurring costs. Goods are typically dispatched 3 working days prior to delivery.
There must be access for a 7.5T Lorry approx.
3.6m H / 2.3m Width / 7.9m Length (i.e., the size of a bin lorry or fire engine) to reach the property and unload. We can only guarantee a curb-side delivery and the smallest vehicle is a 7.5T lorry, if this is unable to access the property further delivery charges may be applied, customers will be notified prior to the goods being dispatched.
Customers must be available to check and sign for the delivery except when The Garden Village have received confirmation from the customer that the item can be left without a signature, please be aware that The Garden Village will not accept liability for any goods
being lost or stolen when the customer has approved this. Please ensure that goods are checked on arrival, please sign for goods as “damaged” if the item appears damaged or opened in any way.
Should an order be delayed for whatever reason the company will not issue compensation and any outstanding balances owed by the customer must still be paid in full. It is the customer’s responsibility to
provide unobstructed access for the delivery to take place. Any failed or returned deliveries may result in additional charges being passed
onto the customer.
In the event you are having the store installed independently it is advisable to wait until you have been notified of your delivery date. We also recommend that on receipt of goods the customer is thoroughly satisfied
that the order has been delivered in full prior to booking or commencing with the installation work.
