This high quality teak oil is a must have addition to your teak garden furniture purchase, ensuring your patio furniture remains protected from the elements. This brilliantly effective teak oil will penetrate the surface of your teak furniture and provide essential nourishment to combat the effects of sun, rain, frost, mildew and algae whilst importantly still allowing your teak patio furniture to breathe.
We strongly recommend the use of our teak oil on an annual basis to maintain to appearance of your garden furniture. Treatment is ever so simple, simply apply using a smooth brush or cloth, although please be careful to use gloves.
This 500ml bottle will typically treat a standard garden furniture set comprising 4 garden chairs and a small garden table, or any garden bench.

Preparation
If you've recently purchased your patio bench, patio table or patio chair then any traces of dirt or grease should be removed, white spirit should do the job. For older teak which is weathered this teak oil would be most effective if the surface is lightly sanded to a smooth finish beforehand. This will make sure any dust or dirt etc. is removed before treatment.
Application
Teak oil can be easily applied with a cloth, rag or smooth brush. 5 minutes after treatment any excess teak oil should be wiped off your garden furniture and you should ensure that the surface has dried before applying another coat.
Storage
Please ensure your teak oil is safely resealed after use then stored in a cool dark place.
Caution
You should be sure to only use your teak sealer in a well ventilated area. Please note that any brushes, rags or cloths still soaked with teak oil could be a fire hazard and should be thoroughly cleaned and soaked in water both before and after use.
